The Trust2Connect API offers a robust, two-step workflow for efficiently searching for businesses and retrieving comprehensive verification reports. This process enables users to first identify potential matches based on provided criteria, and then access detailed Business Profile Report for a specific entity.

Overview of the Workflow

This workflow is designed to maximize both accuracy and flexibility:

Step 1: Initiate a Business Search

• Submit a request to the Business Search API endpoint with your business details
• The API performs a comprehensive search against Trust2Connect’s database and returns a list of up to 10 similar business entities that match your input criteria. Each result includes a unique t2c_id (Trust2Connect Identifier) and a session_id.

Step 2: Retrieve a Detailed Business Profile Report

• Review the list of similar results from Step 1 and identify the most relevant business
• Using the t2c_id and session_id from the selected search result, submit a request to the Business Report API endpoint
• This second call retrieves a full, detailed Business Profile Report for the specified t2c_id.
